How to get started
A full serving of Cour is 3 tablespoons in 12 ounces of water, but don't start there!
Here's our guidance for a great start:
-
Start low
Start with 2 teaspoons in 3-4 oz of water to help your body adjust to the fiber.
-
Go slow
Increase slowly to 3 tablespoons in 12 oz water over 5-10 days, listening to your body.
-
Hydrate
Psyllium husk works best with plenty of water – so stay hydrated throughout the day.
Psst: wondering when to get started?
The best time to start Cour is right now. Seriously.
Follow our ramp guidance, listen to your body, and don’t overthink it.
(And no, Cour isn't a laxative. You won't be sprinting to the bathroom).
How to enjoy
-
Scoop
Add Cour to your cup
-
Mix
Add water, stir vigorously
-
Drink
Enjoy promptly (before it thickens)
For a smoother sip
Cour is made with real food only. We don't use anti-clumping agents, so some small chunks are natural.
Some of us (ahem, Anish) like the clumps. For everyone else, here are a few tricks for a smoother drink:
Sticking with it
Cour works best when you actually drink it regularly (duh!)
New habits are tough, so here are a few of our favorite tricks:
-
Pick a time
Drink Cour at the same time daily so you don't have to think about it. Our personal fave? Mid-morning snack to stay full until lunch.
-
Habit stack
Pick something you already do daily: exercise, coffee, Insta break? Drink your Cour before, during, or after that existing routine.
-
Keep it visible
Leave your pouch out where you know you'll see it and actually drink it. Kitchen table, next to your keys, near your water bottle.
What to expect
Every body is different and fiber is personal. What’s universal is this:
Start low, increase slowly, hydrate, adjust, and stick with it.
And most important - listen to YOUR body.
Every body responds differently to fiber.
You might see results in a day or two, or it might take 1-2 weeks.
Stay consistent, be patient, and glorious poops are coming.
Psyllium husk can temporarily increase gassiness as your body adjusts to the fiber.
Consider ramping more slowly or holding steady at the current serving size until you’re more comfortable.
And make sure you’re staying hydrated.
Stop if something really feels off. Trust your body.
Increasing your fiber intake too quickly can have the opposite of the intended effect, especially if you aren't drinking enough fluids.

Cour is flavored with real fruit and nothing else – no sweeteners of any kind.
That means it tastes like real food.
If you prefer a sweeter taste, you can add your own sweetener or mix in juice.
Orange juice and coconut water are Lauren's favorites :)

Real food means real texture, including fruity clumps.
We think they taste great, but you can shake/stir more vigorously or add more water if they’re not your thing.
